Checking the status of your essential tech services just got easier!  The new TechStatus page replaced OTS Alerts for campus IT alerts and system statuses, offering a modern and easy-to-read view of the university’s online services.  

What’s New

  • Modern design: an intuitive interface makes it easy to get the IT info you need. 
  • Easy-to-read statuses: experiencing an issue? Check the page to quickly see current and historical system statuses.  
  • Personalized views: view all services, or filter by the systems you care about most, so you only see the information relevant to you. 
  • Intuitive name and url: TechStatus at techstatus.towson.edu. 

Next steps 

  • Check out the new page at techstatus.towson.edu: see the current and historical statuses of technology services, and future/planned maintenance downtime. 
  • Subscribe to email notifications: sign up to get important status updates delivered to your inbox. Current OTS Alerts subscribers have been migrated by OTS, so no actions needed.  
  • Update bookmarks: update your alerts.towson.edu bookmark to techstatus.towson.edu.
