Training on suicide prevention, overdose & recovery
The Health and Counseling Centers are offering upcoming training sessions for students, faculty and staff looking to support loved ones in need:
Suicide Prevention Training
Concerned about a friend? Learn about suicide, intervention skills, and referrals to resources through this one-hour in-person training led by two psychologists from the TU Counseling Center. After the training, you’ll feel more comfortable asking about suicide and crises, know how to get help for a friend, and understand our TU resources. Feel free to bring your own lunch to eat during the training on the second floor of Ward and West/The Health and Counseling Center in the Open Classroom, from 2-3 pm Monday, October 13th!
Questions? Contact awalser@towson.edu. Food is not provided at this training.
