Financial Literacy Workshops for students
Ready to take control of your finances (and maybe snag some extra credit)? Join the College of Business and Economics and the Dept. of Finance for a 3-session mini-course designed to give you the skills every student needs to be smart with their money:
- Creating Good Credit – Oct. 10, 12–1pm
Unlock lower-cost loans and keep more $$ in your pocket. - Budgeting Basics – Oct. 24, 2–3pm
Finally make a plan for your money that actually works. - Intro to Investing – Oct. 31, 2–3pm
Start growing your savings and building real financial freedom.
Come for one session or all three—the classes build on each other, so you’ll get the most out of the full series. Plus, you’ll get free access to online budgeting & investing tools to keep the momentum going.
In-person: Stephens Hall 215
Online: Zoom (questions answered at the end)
Tip: Ask your professor if this workshop qualifies as an extra-credit opportunity for your class.
Led by Dept. of Finance’s Professor of Practice, Mark Donnelly
