It’s Time to Move In, Tigers!

Parking & Transportation Services welcomes our resident students back to campus! Fall Move-In will take place from Wednesday, August 20, to Sunday, August 24.

Parking Updates

Union Garage

  • Ground floor partially closed: 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18 – 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22

  • Upper levels remain open.

  • Vehicles unloading for Tower A: park on the hill next to Tower A.

West Village Area

  • Lot 1 closed: 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15 – 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24.

    • Alternate parking: West Village and upper levels of Union Garage.

  • Millennium Hall lots: restricted to permit holders only.

Residence Tower & 10 West

  • Lot 14 closed: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 – 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24.

  • Lot 15 restricted: 10 West residents only for unloading, 6 a.m. Wednesday, August 20 – 5 p.m. to Sunday, August 24.

  • Residents may park in Core spaces of Towsontown Garage until 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25.

Stadium Area

  • Lot 7 closed: 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20 – 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, for centralized move-in check-in at SECU Arena.

Move-In Information

  • Traffic Flow: Cross Campus Drive will be one-way westbound from York Road to Osler Drive from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on August 20 –23.

  • “Move-In” Spaces: Available for 15 minutes without a permit; driver must remain with the vehicle.

  • Visitor Parking: Second floor of West Village Garage.

  • Overflow Parking: Stadium Lots near SECU Arena/Johnny Unitas Stadium (Lots 4 & 8).

  • West Village Walkway: Open for unloading 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Aug. 20 – 24.

    • Closed Friday, Aug. 22, 5 a.m. – 12 p.m.

  • Tower A Access: Closed for Convocation Friday, Aug. 22, 5 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Important: Vehicles parked in closed areas may be relocated. Follow posted signs and staff directions. No parking in fire lanes, roadways, sidewalks, grass, or reserved spaces. Accessible spaces require a state-issued placard and a valid TU permit.

Shuttle Services

  • Gold Shuttle: Available starting 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23.

  • SafeRide: Available 2 a.m. – 7 a.m., seven days a week (except holidays). Call 410-704-SAFE.

  • SafeWalk: Escorts are available any time for individuals who feel uncomfortable walking alone on campus.

  • Regular Shuttle Service: Resumes 6:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25.
