Parking and Transportation Event Support – Secondary Job Opportunity

Interested in convenient part-time work at TU?  Parking and Transportation Services seeks motivated, customer-focused TU employees looking for secondary employment to direct guests and fans to parking locations.  Shifts are typically available during early evenings and weekends.  This is an excellent opportunity to earn additional income in a fun and active environment right on campus!  

The pay rate starts at $20/hour and varies depending on employment classification and overtime (Note: the rate is based on total hours worked for TU, including your primary assignment and event support).

We are looking for Event Support Staff who:

• Are friendly and enthusiastic representatives of Towson University
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Enjoy working in teams
• Can lift and move equipment weighing at least 25 pounds
• Are comfortable directing traffic on campus
• Can stand for long periods and work outside in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)

Shift Information:

• Shifts range from 2 to 10+ hours.
• Most shifts are during early evenings, weekends, and occasionally holidays. Weekday shifts may sometimes be available.
• Hours and days vary; assignments for events are not guaranteed.
