Faculty: Blackboard Collaborate access ends May 23. See recommendations and support options

TU’s contract with Blackboard Collaborate ends this month. Starting May 23, 2025, Class Collaborate will no longer be an option within the Blackboard environment at Towson. Current Collaborate users were notified about this change through a direct email earlier this spring. 

If you’re still using Collaborate for online classes, here are some recommendations: 

• Before May 23,  download your Collaborate Recordings and Upload them to Panopto. 
• Start using Zoom now. It’s integrated within Blackboard courses, and you can easily configure your course with Zoom and create office hours using Zoom. 

For help using Zoom in your Blackboard course, please attend one of our pop-up sessions: 

• Mon., April 28, 1-2 p.m.
• Mon., May 12, 11 a.m.-noon 
• Wed., May 28, 1-2 p.m.
