Show your sustainability smarts by participating in TU’s annual Move Out Donation Drive. You can contribute to a greener environment and donate to a worthy cause! We’re collecting clean, gently used items in all residence halls from May 7, 2025, to May 31, 2025.

What we are looking for: 

  • Gently used and cleaned clothing (no stains or rips)
  • Dorm decor (baskets, lamps, lights, clean bedding, etc.)
  • Electronics
  • Unused school supplies
  • Unopened and non-perishable food
  • Toiletries

What we are NOT accepting: 

  •  Mattress toppers
  • Pillows 
  • Broken or dirty items

Look out for the collection bins in your residence hall lobby. Please place mattress toppers in the closest open-top dumpster labeled “Trash”.

Clean, suitable donated items will be sold at the Campus Move-Out Yard Sale or donated directly to a local non-profit organization to help those in greatest need. This year, the proceeds from the yard sale will help TurnAround Inc., a local non-profit rape crisis center for Baltimore City and County, providing counseling and support services to those impacted by sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking.
