Physics, Astronomy & Geosciences Presents a Public Planetarium Show
“Our Colorful World” & “Cosmic Mashups”
At 6:30, we will have the world premiere of “Our Colorful World”, a fulldome short, created right here at Towson University! In a vibrant exploration of color and light, a curious character embarks on a journey that reveals the profound ways in which we perceive the world around us. We will also screen some additional homegrown fulldome artistic pieces! **Suitable for all ages**
At 7pm & 7:45pm, we will show “Cosmic Mashups: Gravity, Galaxies & Supermassive Black Holes”. Supermassive black holes lie at the center of most galaxies. But what happens when to those black holes when galaxies collide? Join astronomers as we seek out the answers!
Telescope viewing with the days getting longer and daylight savings time pushing nightfall even later, telescope viewing will most likely be delayed until 7:30pm or so. However, weather permitting, we will have the observatory open!
Enter the campus from Research Way from York Road. The Science Complex is on the right. Free parking is available free from 3 pm on Friday through Sunday in the Glen Parking Garage, directly across from the Science Complex.
