Abstract: Analytical error in the laboratory should always be minimized so that results will be as accurate as possible. This presentation outlines methods to increase accuracy in the laboratory during preparation of calibration standards, sample collection, processing of samples for laboratory analysis, and performing analysis of samples in the laboratory. This presentation will also outline application of these methods to industry and how being precise in analysis can affect your relevance in your career. The presenter will also discuss some protective systems including recent medical isolation systems that were developed during the COVID-19 crisis.
