This session is designed to help faculty effectively use Microsoft Reflect and other check-in tools with intention and clarity. While check-ins provide valuable insights into student well-being, this session aims to assist faculty with how to respond—especially when a student repeatedly signals distress.

In this session, we’ll explore:
How to structure and set expectations for check-ins
How to interpret responses and determine appropriate follow-up steps
Scenarios for responding to student distress while maintaining professional boundaries
The campus resources available to support student well-being

This session will provide faculty with practical strategies to ensure check-ins are more than just a routine task—they become a meaningful tool for fostering student success
