This presentation explores strategic approaches to scaffolding research and writing activities in TSEM courses. Presenters from Cook, the Writing Center, and FACET will discuss effective ways to structure TSEM classes in order to progressively build students’ academic skills throughout the semester. Learn practical techniques for approaching assignment sequences and about partnering with campus support services to help our first-year students in this foundational course.
