Science Complex, Free Public Planetarium Show: From Earth to the Universe

This stunning, 30-minute voyage through time and space conveys, through an arresting combination of sights and sounds, the Universe revealed to us by science.

Telescope: Following each show

See the “Planet Parade” –  Join us on the rooftop (weather permitting) to glimpse some of the planets in this month’s “planetary parade”, an uncommon arrangement six planets across the night sky!

Directions: Enter the campus from Research Way from York Road. The Science Complex is on the right. Free parking is available free from 3 p.m. on Friday through Sunday in the Glen Parking Garage, directly across from the Science Complex.

About the Planetarium: Public shows are held the evening of the first and third Friday of every month at 7:00 and 7:45 p.m. and are provided free of charge. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis except for designated ADA/wheelchair seating. Extra shows are added to accommodate overflow audiences.

When weather permits, planetarium shows are followed by telescope observing using our new 16” diameter Ritchey-Chrétien reflecting telescope as well as with some of our portable 8” Celestron telescopes.
