Leave Donation Program Beginning April 2025

We support colleagues in need at TU! Towson University now offers a Sick Leave Donation Program, providing a meaningful way for employees to help each other during challenging times.

All regular faculty, staff, and contingent II employees can donate their sick leave balance, of up to 96 hours per calendar year.  Donated leave will be used to provide employees with paid leave when faced with their own, or immediate family member’s, serious health condition.  To donate sick leave, you must have a balance of 240 hours after the donation.

If interested in donating your sick leave, please complete the DocuSign application on our TU Leave webpage, Request to Donate Leave.

Employees may begin requesting access to the leave donation bank starting April 1.  More information to come!
