Abstract: One Sky is a collection of beautiful short films about constellations, astronomical instruments and scientific knowledge from various cultures around the world. Each chapter is presented in an original and engaging way with its own artistic style featuring the work of international artists. Each film stands alone as a short story or in combination as a longer narrative.
Public shows are held the evening of the third Friday of every month at 7:00 and 7:45 p.m. and are provided free of charge. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis except for designated ADA/wheelchair seating. Extra shows are added to accommodate overflow audiences. Enter the campus from Research Way from York Road. The Science Complex is on the right. Free parking is available free from 3pm on Friday through Sunday in the Glen Parking Garage, directly across from the Science Complex.
When weather permits, planetarium shows are followed by telescope observing using our new 16” diameter Ritchey-Chrétien reflecting telescope as well as with some of our portable 8” Celestron telescopes.
