Protect your TU account with Duo MFA before winter break
If you’re not using Duo Multi-Factor Authentication yet, enroll before break!
Here’s why:
- Using Duo will soon be mandatory. Check it off your list now! All TU students will need to use Duo by May 2025, and will be auto enrolled in groups, mid-February through May. Timing specifics will be shared on the project webpage.
- Get peace of mind: Knowing your accounts are secure allows you to focus on your studies.
Here’s how to get set up in less than three minutes:
- Download the Duo mobile app: Find it on the App Store or Google Play.
- Enroll your device: Head to towson.edu/netid to enroll your device (and a backup device) using the same system you use to manage your NetID and password.
- Authenticate: The next time you log in to a TU system like M365, you’ll be prompted to enter a code from the Duo app.
Don’t wait—get secure now and enjoy your winter break with one less thing to worry about!
Need help? Stop by the OTS Tech Table during CLA Coffee Sessions: Dec. 3 and 4, 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Liberal Arts Building near room 2118.
