International Education Week is here-celebrate with us on Tuesday!

TU International is pleased to invite all students, faculty, and staff to participate in International Education Week 2024. This joint initiative from the U.S. Departments of Education and State highlights new and continuing international activities on campus. It starts Monday (Nov. 18) and will continue throughout the week with events, interactive activities, information sessions and more!

Tuesday, November 19

Dublin: A Brief History
When: 10 pm
Where: Zoom (register)
Explore Dublin’s rich past with the Study Abroad Association (SAA) on this short walking tour. Discover key landmarks, from Dublin Castle to Trinity College, as you uncover the city’s fascinating history in just a few stops.

Asia in Maryland Exhibition
When: 11 am – 4 pm
Where: Center for the Arts, #2037
Explore diverse works of art by Maryland-based Asian and AAPI visual artists which showcase the stories of, raise awareness about, and facilitate dialogue about the ideas and issues that are most important to the 500,000+ Asian and AAPI residents who play integral roles in the fabric of Maryland life.

Study Abroad & Away Group Advising
When: 2 pm
Where: Psychology Building, Rm. #407
Come to an in-person group advising session to learn about studying abroad or away with TU.

National Student Exchange Virtual Fair
When: 2 pm The Great NSE Roadtrip (register)
3 pm NSE Alumni Panel (register)
4 pm Big City Campuses (register)

Learn more about your study away options with the National Student Exchange (NSE) program by attending one or more NSE Virtual Fair sessions! Sessions will center around specific themes and NSE Coordinators from member campuses will be highlighting unique experiences offered. Sign up to connect with campuses they you may be considering for exchange. 

CLA, Study Abroad, and You: Faculty and Student Perspectives
When: 2 pm
Where: Liberal Arts Building, Rm. #1201
Thinking about studying abroad? Join us to learn more about study abroad opportunities in the College of Liberal Arts. Students and study abroad faculty leaders will share their experience and perspective.

Tiger Tuesday: International Game Night
When: 7 – 9 pm
Where: University Union, PAWS Pit
Come on down to PAWS for a fun international themed game night. FREE PIZZA AND PRIZES!
