Free BWI/Penn Station Shuttle Ride Thanksgiving Break 2024
Parking & Transportation Services offers a free Thanksgiving Break shuttle from TU to BWI Airport and Baltimore’s Penn Station. A shuttle will also be scheduled to return to TU’s campus. Rides are available to all students, faculty, and staff on a first-come, first-served basis.
Reserve your spot on the BWI-Penn Shuttle early. Reservations are required. PLEASE NOTE: Scheduled trips are subject to cancellation if there are no advanced booked reservations. If you did not make a reservation, you are encouraged to call ahead to ensure the scheduled trip has not been canceled. A maximum of two pieces of luggage (one small carry-on and medium size 25l x 18w) per person will be permitted for the reservation.
Departure dates and times: (Shuttles depart from the ground level loop of the Union Garage.)
- Friday, November 22 at 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM (2 shuttles)
- Monday, November 25 at 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM (3 shuttles)
- Tuesday, November 26 at 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM (3 Shuttles)
Return dates and times: (times are estimated as traffic can alter these)
- Sunday, December 1 at 5:00 PM (1 shuttle, pick-up time from BWI)
- Sunday, December 1, 5:15 PM (estimated Penn Station pick-up, front entrance)
- Sunday, December 1 at 7:00 PM (1 shuttle pick-up time from BWI)
- Sunday, December 1, 7:15 PM (estimated Penn Station pick-up, front entrance)
Shuttle pick-up at Penn Station will be approximately 15 minutes after departure from the BWI International Terminal. Please plan accordingly.
Shuttles depart from the ground-level loop of the Union Garage. The return shuttle departs from the BWI International Terminal. A valid TU ID is necessary to board the shuttle. When scheduling your departure shuttle, please give yourself ample time for traffic or any applicable security checks at BWI Airport or Penn Station. Arrival at Penn Station from the campus will be approximately 15 minutes after departure from the Union Garage loop.
Please note that unanticipated traffic, construction or accidents might affect arrival times.
