Campus Construction Traffic Impacts October 25
On October 25, 2024 (weather-dependent), TU will be undergoing construction to install new digital signs. This work is expected to have minor impacts on traffic flow around campus.
The work is primarily to install the concrete bases needed for the signs and will involve temporary southbound right lane closures while the concrete is being delivered. See locations below:
- Sign 4 – York Rd
- The right lane (southbound) will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. from Newell Ave to Aigburth Rd.
- Sign 3- Osler Dr. at Fine Arts
- The right lane (southbound) will be closed from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. from Fine Arts Dr. to Auburn Dr.
- Sign 2- Osler Rd. at Millenium Hall
- The right lane (southbound) at the overhead bridge to Emerson Rd will be closed from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic while the concrete trucks are unloading. In case of an emergency, the trucks can be moved immediately. All detours will be signed appropriately, and ADA access will be maintained.
