Applying to Study Abroad? Scholarship Deadline TODAY
It’s the last day to apply for the TU Institutional Study Abroad Scholarship! Students attending programs taking place in Minimester 2025, Spring or Calendar Year 2025, or Spring Break 2025 (or applying to study abroad programs during Summer 2025, Fall 2025 or Academic Year 2025-26 for early decision) must complete and submit their scholarship application in Horizons by 11:59PM on October 15, 2024. Scholarship notifications will be made in mid-November/early-December.
Please note that scholarships are competitive and funding is limited so cannot be relied upon to fund a study abroad experience. If you have not yet already done so, request a Study Abroad Budget from the Study Abroad & Away Office to meet with Financial Aid and discuss your funding options. For a list of scholarships and to review financial aid eligibility qualifications, visit the Scholarships & Financial Aid page of our website.
How to Apply:
1. Identify and apply for your eligible program in Horizons. You will not be able to initiate a scholarship application without first submitting a program application.
2. Log into your Horizons account and access the relevant scholarship application from the “Search Scholarships” tab.
3. Select the term that you are applying for, and follow the steps to apply. (If you receive a message saying the limit is reached, then you have already initiated a scholarship application. Simply navigate to the “My Scholarships” tab and continue from there.)
4. To be considered for the TU Institutional Diversity Study Abroad Scholarship complete the supplemental short-answer question in the online scholarship application.
