Get help with your CompTIA Security+ certification exam

In partnership with the TU Computer and Information Science Department, Towson University Continuing and Professional Studies is offering a CompTIA Security+ bootcamp to help you earn your certification, while still in school. The bootcamp will be held January 6–January 10, 2025, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., in the CIS Department.  Download a PDF with complete details.

Application checklist

  1. Confirm you have taken the recommended pre-requisites: ITEC 250 and ITEC 357
  2. Apply to the bootcamp by October 16. Note, a resume is required to process your application.
  3. Attend an in-person proctored assessment the week of October 21. Dates, times, and locations will be sent on October 17.
  4. Score a 70 or higher on the assessment to be provided priority placement in the bootcamp.
  5. Submit payment of $99 by November 22 to confirm your spot in the bootcamp. Most of the tuition is supplemented by the CIS department. Enrollment includes exam voucher, official CompTIA labs and practice materials, as well as daily breakfast and lunch.
