Sabbatical Presentation by Min Jin, Department of Music, College of Fine Arts and Communication
Dr. Min Jin, Associate Professor in the Department of Music, will present his sabbatical concert on Friday, October 4th in the Recital Hall (CFA 3066) at 6pm. The title of this performance is “Night of Korean Songs: Longing.”
Night of Korean Songs: Longing features Professor Min Jin’s performance of beautiful and lyrical Korean art songs and sacred songs by the South Korean composer, Professor Hee Young Yang, with the accompaniment of Professor Eunae Han of George Mason University. The performance will evoke a sense of yearning and love through newly composed Korean harmonies inspired by the beauty of Korea’s natural scenery and expressed through the backdrop of exquisite poetry. This concert is hosted as part of Professor Jin’s sabbatical.
