Faculty Advisor Support Workshop Series – Workshops NOW Open for Fall 2024!
Academic Advising, Retention and Completion (AARC) is relaunching our faculty advisor support workshop series.
This series aims to support all TU faculty advisors, new and returning, by strengthening their toolkits for managing increasingly complicated students through advising techniques, best practices and theory.

Deep diving into Advising, Sept 27th, 10a m to 3:30 pm, CLA Rm 3310
- A comprehensive workshop perfect for new advisors, but open to everyone! We will explore academic advising strategies and resources at TU in-depth.
TU Policies and Populations, Oct 7th, 12 pm to 1 pm, Zoom
- This hour will focus on up-to-date TU academic advising policies and student populations.
Students in Distress Roundtable, Oct 10th, 12 pm to 1 pm, Zoom
- This hour will explore different advising models, the data behind their use, and various student scenarios to help prepare attendees for working with advisees navigating challenges and crises.
