2024 National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Research Stipends Webinar
Faculty conducting research in the humanities (as defined by NEH) who are interested in applying for an NEH Summer Stipend for 2025 are encouraged to attend a webinar that will outline changes to the competition. The new program guidelines will be posted by June 18, 2024, on the NEH website at: https://www.neh.gov/grants/research/summer-stipends

This program requires tenured or tenure-track applicants to be nominated by their campus. This year nominations will be limited to one per institution and the stipend has been raised to $8,000. Note: Non-tenure-track faculty, adjunct faculty, staff, retired faculty, are exempt from nomination.
Interested faculty will be required to submit a CV and statement of project to Dean Chris Chulos no later than September 9, 2024. The statement should be substantive and specific and at least two to three pages in length. The chosen University nominee will have an opportunity to revise, expand, or polish their statements before the submission deadline of September 18, 2024. Submission will be through grants.gov with the help of OSPR.
