Football 2024 Season Parking Information 

Our Parking & Transportation Services team has game day parking information that you should know for Football season:

 Game Day Parking Info

  • Lot 5 will be closed for TU Marching Band exercises for the Fall 2024 term on non-game days. 
  • All lots around the stadium (4, 5, 6, 7, and 8) will close six hours before the game time.  The interior of Lot 8 will close the evening before. 
  • For Homecoming (October 19, 2024), all lots will close in the evening, and lots will re-open four hours before game time for fan parking.  Unauthorized vehicles remaining in the area are subject to citations and towing at the owner’s expense.  Game day parking permits will be required to park in Lots 6, 7, and 8.  
  • Lots 4, 5, and all core campus garages and non-residential lots will be available for general parking four hours before game time.  No permit is required for these areas.  Parking will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Once the general parking lots 4 & 5 near the stadium fill up, general parkers will be redirected to the Union Garage.  
  • Tailgating: Tailgating will be allowed in designated areas only and must follow established tailgating policies.  No tailgating is permitted in any garages. 
  • Tents: Due to safety concerns, no tents are allowed in Lot 5.  Tents are permitted in other areas as outlined in the tailgating policies.  Tents must be secured with a weighting system (no stakes) and can’t be placed in a parking space or block traffic flow in drive lanes.    
  • Paratransit service for those with mobility needs will be provided 4 hours prior to game time through 1 hour after the game ends.  No other game day shuttles will be provided. Gold route shuttles will operate on normal schedules.  No Gold route service will be provided to the Lot 5 shuttle stop, 4 hours prior to game time through 1 hour after the game ends.  Service for the stadium area will only be available from the Towson Center/Lot 8 bus slip.
