It’s Time for Move-In Tigers! Parking For Fall Move-In 2024

Fall Move-In will occur from Wednesday, August 21, through Sunday, August 25. 

Union Garage 

  • The ground floor of the Union Garage will be partially closed from 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, until 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25.
  • The upper levels of the Union Garage will remain open to parking. 
  • Vehicles unloading for Tower A only will be directed through the ground floor of the Union Garage and allowed to park on the hill next to Tower A.  

West Village Area 

  • The third level of the West Village Garage will remain open 
  • Lot 1 in front of Enrollment Services will close from 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 until 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25. Alternate faculty/staff parking is available in the West Village Garage and the upper levels of the Union Garage.  
  • Millennium Hall lots cannot be used for fall TU move-in.   

Residence Tower & 10 West 

  • Lot 14 near the Health & Counseling Center will be closed from 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 through Sunday, Aug. 25 
  • The 10 West garage (Lot 15) will be restricted to 10 West residents for unloading from 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21 through 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25. 
  • During this time, 10 West residents may park in the Core spaces on the upper levels of the Towsontown Garage. 

Additional Move-In Information  

  • Cross Campus Drive will be designated for one-way traffic, westbound from York Road to Osler Drive, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 21 – 23. 
  • Vehicles may only park in “Move-In” spaces for 15 minutes.  
  • The West Village walkway between Lot 1 and the West Village garage will be open to vehicles for unloading from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21st through Sunday, Aug. 25. 
  • West Village Walkway and Access new Tower A will be closed on Friday, August 23rd between 5 a.m. – 1 p.m. Both locations will re-open at 1 p.m.  
  • No vehicles are permitted to park in marked/designated fire lanes, in a roadway, on sidewalks, on grass, or in an otherwise reserved space, even for a few minutes. Violators will be issued citations and may be towed at the owner’s expense. 
  • Only authorized individuals displaying a state-issued accessible (handicapped) license plate/placard may park in an accessible space. Vehicles must have the accessible license plate/placard and a valid TU parking permit to park in accessible spaces. Violators will be issued citations and may be towed at the owner’s expense. 
  • The Gold shuttle will be available for the fall semester beginning at 5 p.m. Aug. 24. SafeRide is available from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. and can be requested by calling 410-704-RIDE.  
  • Regular shuttle service for the fall will resume at 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26.
