Stay informed about the Human Capital Management (HCM) Discovery Project
Over the past several months, members of Human Resources, Payroll, and the Office of Technology Services have embarked on an HCM Discovery Project. We are currently in the early stages of preparing to modernize our HCM processes and systems. This discovery project aims to help us understand TU readiness, key changes impacts, and what we need to do to move forward from our existing systems. We have created an HCM Discovery Project webpage for you to keep up with our progress, ask questions, and provide feedback. Our goal during the discovery project is to:
- Offer opportunities for feedback to TU staff and faculty on the project
- Communicate openly with the TU community about the discovery project and areas of potential improvement to HR and Payroll processes
- Share and discuss changes in advance with the TU community
About the Oracle HCM Discovery Project
In 2022, TU moved to Stratus Financials to streamline and improve financial and budgeting processes. The HCM Discovery Project continues TU’s transition to the cloud by assessing HCM Cloud solutions to determine alignment with TU’s core business processes and provide recommendations to ensure a successful implementation of HCM Cloud. In addition, the discovery project will identify actions, risks, dependencies, and resources necessary to successfully implement a new system.
How you can help
- First, visit the HCM Cloud Discovery Project webpage to keep up with the progress, provide feedback, and ask questions!
- Additionally, there will be a survey sent to a sample of TU faculty and staff who will be most directly affected and impacted by this project asking for your valuable insights on a potential transition to HCM Cloud. If you receive this survey, it will be very helpful, and it would be greatly appreciated if you took a moment to let us know your thoughts.
- Your feedback is instrumental to the overall success of the HCM Cloud Discovery Project, and we appreciate your participation.
Sincerely,
Steve Jones
