Starting Friday, your junk/spam email will be managed in Outlook
Starting on Friday, June 21, how you check for junk/spam email will be easier.
What you need to know
Your Outlook’s “Junk Email” folder will be the new place for potentially unwanted emails. Notifications about spam/junk email being quarantined at spam.towson.edu will no longer be sent. This improvement allows you to easily manage junk email from within Outlook, eliminating the need to log into a different system to release a message incorrectly flagged as spam.
You can see email flagged as junk or spam by checking your Outlook “Junk Email” folder. Be sure to periodically check that folder. You can determine what appears as junk in your Outlook inbox by managing blocked and safe senders. This change only affects faculty and staff since students already use their Outlook folders.
