Mental Health First Aid Courses available June 14 and June 27.
Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This training gives you the skills you need to provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health problem or experiencing a crisis. The courses are open to all TU faculty, staff and students at no cost in order to support others in crisis and reduce stigma surrounding mental health and substance use problems. The next trainings are scheduled for June 14 and June 27 from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Detailed information for the participants will be sent out upon completion of registration from mhfa@echodevelopment.org.
