Move Out Donation Drive Volunteers Needed! Help Sort Donations for a Good Cause!
Hey TU, it’s time for our annual Move-Out Donation Drive, and we need your help! TU faculty and staff are invited to sort items at Ascension Lutheran on Thursday, May 30, from 1 to 4 p.m. Volunteers can register here.
The Towson University FoodShare program is also looking for volunteers to sort food and toiletries. Please use this link to sign up with The FoodShare. All donated food is sorted and given to the TU FoodShare, Assistance Center of Towson Churches, and other local agencies. Your efforts in preparing for the yard sale will directly contribute to helping children from East Towson attend a local summer camp.
Faculty and Staff can use Community Service Leave hours to participate in either program. View the OHR Community Service Leave Agreement to learn more.
The yard sale is scheduled for June 8, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Ascension Lutheran Church parking lot. The rain date is June 15, 2024.
