Thank You, TU: Drug Take Back Day 2024

The Towson University Police Department and Public Safety team thanks the TU Community for helping us collect 10 lbs. of prescription drugs and other medications during the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 27, 2024.

National Take Back Day provides a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of prescription drugs while also educating the community about the potential for medication misuse. In our fifth year of participating in the event, we applaud the 45 Towson community members who participated, helping us to make our community safer. We would also like to thank Cpl. Dontae Smith who worked on collecting items at the drop-off location, ensuring a smooth and discreet process for attendees.

If you missed this opportunity to dispose of unwanted or expired prescription drugs, the Baltimore County Police Department has drop boxes located at all precincts offering a safe and environmentally friendly way to do so. For more information on this event and how to get involved, click here.
