Join Our Research Study: Exploring Virtual Reality Rehabilitation for Ankle Sprains
TU’s Department of Kinesiology is excited to announce an opportunity for individuals to participate in a research study. We are seeking volunteers who have experienced at least two ankle sprains and suffer from persistent pain, instability, or sensations of “looseness” or “giving way.”
Study Overview:
- Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness of the TRAZER system, an innovative virtual reality rehabilitation platform.
- What to Expect: Participants will undergo a one-hour session at our lab on TU campus, involving a balance assessment and movement analysis.
- Eligibility: Individuals with a history of multiple ankle sprains and ongoing discomfort or instability.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to advancements in rehabilitation technology and potentially improve outcomes for individuals with similar conditions.
For More Information: Please contact Lisa Custer, PhD, ATC at lcuster@towson.edu.
We look forward to your participation in this exciting research!
