Spring Move Out 2024 Parking Notice

Spring finals are approaching, which means the end of the semester and spring move-out are around the corner!  We need your help to ensure the smoothest and most efficient process possible for residential students.

Please follow the guidelines outlined below.

Move-out guidelines are active from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 16th through Wednesday, May 22nd:

  • Designated “Move-out” spaces will be located near each residence hall.
  • Vehicles without a permit may only park in a designated “Move-out” space for a maximum of 30 minutes. Once vehicles are loaded, if you wish to stay parked on campus, please ensure you have a valid parking permit and move to a legal parking space based on your permit type.
  • Vehicles must be parked in a legal parking space based on their permit type when not loading.
  • Cars and other vehicles cannot park in fire lanes or accessible spaces (without the proper permit), on a roadway, on sidewalks, on grass, or in an otherwise marked reserved space at any time (not even for a few minutes).
  • Only vehicles displaying both a state-issued accessible license plate/placard and a valid TU parking permit may park in accessible spaces.
  • Please remove all items from your room before bringing your vehicle to the loading walkway for West Village housing locations. Each person has 15 minutes allotted for vehicles to be loaded. If you need more than 15 minutes to load, please park your car in the garage when moving out.
  • Residents can access the West Village walkway or Glen Towers access road during the times indicated above to load their belongings.
  • Millennium Hall parking spaces are restricted to Millennium Hall permit holders. Improperly parked vehicles are subject to citations and towing at the owner’s expense.

Please follow the directions of posted signs and on-duty staff. If you have questions or concerns, please visit the Parking & Transportation Services website. Contact the PTS office directly at 410-704-PARK (7275), select option #1, uPark@towson.edu, or through our online parking chat.
