FACET Online Course Design & Facilitation Workshop
This FACET professional development workshop is designed for faculty seeking Path 1 eligibility to teach online at Towson University. This workshop will also equip faculty with effective strategies for developing a high-quality accessible online course that fosters active learning. Upon successful completion of this workshop requirements, faculty will be eligible to teach online for the next 8 years.
For your convenience, FACET is offering two training formats this summer for those seeking to complete their online teaching eligibility. Select the option that works best for your schedule:
- In-person format with FACET Instructional Designers: Monday, June 3 – Thursday, June 6; 9 AM-1:30 PM. Lunch provided.
- Self-paced asynchronous format: Monday, June 17- Thursday, August 16. Rolling enrollment. Please note the last enrollment date is July 19 to ensure participation requirements are completed by the 8/16 end date.
