Opportunity to Contribute to Research (and Get Paid): Seeking Adult Perspectives on Genetic Testing in the Autism Community
Hello! I’m Dr. Ming Li, an assistant professor in the Health Sciences Department at Towson University. We’re embarking on an exciting research journey to delve into the perspectives of adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) regarding genetic testing. As we expand our study, we’re eager to include more voices and experiences. This research aims to explore viewpoints without advocating for or against genetic testing—your insights are what matter most to us.
You’re invited to join this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Have been diagnosed with ASD
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Can communicate in English
- Are able to provide consent for yourself
Study Details:
- Duration: The study consists of an interview lasting approximately one hour, which can be conducted in-person or via Zoom, depending on your preference.
- Compensation: Participants will receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card as a token of our appreciation.
