National Student Employee Appreciation Week

This year, TU is celebrating Student Employment Appreciation Week from Monday, April 8 to Friday, April 12. Student employees provide integral staffing support to further the university’s mission. How can YOU celebrate this week with your student employees? Consider some of these ideas:
- Thanks: Write a thank you note from yourself or your entire office
- Gifts: Buy or make your student a small gift (e.g., gift card or TU swag)
- Treats: Bring in treats or lunch for your student workers
- Social Media: Feature your student employees on a departmental social media post
- Awards: Nominate your student for a SALA award
- Attire: Make the week special by allowing casual attire
- Decorate: Adorn your student employee’s workspace with fun decorations
Use YOUR imagination…A simple THANK YOU will go a long way!
