Join Us for an Afternoon of Learning and Play: Tennis, Lacrosse, and Gaelic Games!
The PE Majors Club is thrilled to invite you to a unique, dynamic, and completely FREE event this March 28th! Engage with national and local professional organizations and learn directly from experienced coaches across three exciting sports. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enhance your teaching and coaching skills in a fun, interactive environment.

Schedule of Activities:
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: USA Tennis Workshop Dive into the world of tennis with professional US Tennis Coaches. This workshop will provide insights into modified tennis activities designed for non-traditional spaces, promoting inclusivity and engagement for participants of all abilities.
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Let’s Learn Lacrosse! (Weather permitting on Field 2) Explore the basics of lacrosse with Lauren Davenport, Towson alumni and Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Notre Dame of Maryland University. This session is perfect for integrating physical literacy with a tactical games approach, offering valuable resources for incorporating lacrosse into PE classes and sports programs.
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Introducing Gaelic Games! (Weather permitting on Field 2) Experience the traditional Irish sports of Gaelic football and hurling with the Baltimore Bohemians Gaelic Athletic Association. Learn the fundamental skills and enjoy playing these exhilarating games under the guidance of expert coaches and players.
