Stephen KrashenDr. Krashen is an American linguist, educational researcher, and activist who is Professor Emeritus of Education at the University of Southern California (USC). He is the author of more than 525 articles and books in the fields of bilingual education, neurolinguistics, second language acquisition, and literacy. Dr. Krashen is best known for his work in establishing a general theory of second language acquisition, as the co-founder of the Natural Approach, and as the inventor of sheltered subject matter teaching.
