Administrative Leave Granted for Inclement Weather, 02/13/24
Due to inclement weather, Towson University had a delayed opening of
12pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2024
- Employees who were not scheduled to work, whose shifts began after 12 PM, were scheduled to take leave, or were already on leave, may not use administrative leave.
- The administrative leave corresponds with the actual hours you would have been scheduled to work if not for the delayed opening.
- All other faculty and staff, including those approved for telework, will receive administrative leave, unless otherwise directed, for the scheduled work hours impacted by the delayed opening.
The applicable leave codes are:
- ADMU leave code – Regular Faculty & Staff, Librarians
- ADMCE leave code – Contingent II Exempt Staff
- ADMCU leave code – Contingent II Non-Exempt Staff and Contingent I Staff
- Student Employees – students scheduled to work before 12 PM on February 13th should record normal work hours on the time sheet and note the administrative leave hours in the comment section of the time sheet for that day. Any hours worked after 12 PM are not attributed to administrative leave.
- Contingent Lecturers – record the REG leave code for any time worked and note the administrative leave hours in the comments
Non-exempt emergency essential personnel, who are required to work during the delayed opening, are paid for the hours worked and receive straight time administrative leave for scheduled work hours. Use pay code ADMEW for the administrative leave hours.
Timesheet Approvers – Please check your direct report timesheets for accuracy before approving!
