Description: Interested in using reflection-based and/or mindfulness-based activities in your classes? In this workshop, we will explore the benefits of what is often termed “contemplative pedagogy” and discuss strategies and options for incorporating contemplative practices within course curriculum, with particular attention to activities that involve journaling, deep listening, silence, and meditation. We will also provide a handout with information on contemplative pedagogy and available online resources.
