30 Minute Spaces Now Available through Off-Street @ TU

Parking & Transportation Services is excited to announce a significant upgrade to parking operations at Towson University.  Effective 1/29/2024, permits for the 30 Minute spaces in garages and surface lots, will be accessed through a new service provider “Off Street”. This is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance convenience, improve efficiency, and provide a more efficient system on campus.

Off Street allows all individuals easy on-line access to obtain a 30-minute parking session through their smartphone or the Off-Street website.

Off-Street offers numerous benefits that will streamline the parking process, including:

Ease of Use: Off-Street is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for you to initiate and manage your parking sessions.

Convenience: With Off-Street, you can quickly obtain a 30-minute parking session, all from the convenience of your smartphone or through internet browser.

Contactless Transactions: In line with health and safety protocols, Off-Street minimizes physical contact by eliminating the need for physically touching a kiosk.

Implementing the Off-Street app to obtain permits that require an access code will greatly improve the parking experience for our campus community and visitors to Towson University.

To obtain a 30-minute permit through an internet browser:

  • Go to https://www.offstreet.io/ and enter in Location Number: 30MIN
  • Follow the prompts for license plate and state/province
  • Enter code on the parking sign.
  • Select start date and time
  • Fill in any additional information
  • Click “PARK” registration details will be confirmed

As a reminder regarding 30 Minute Pick-Up and Drop-Off spaces on campus:

  • Permit is valid at no charge in designated Pick-Up/Drop-Off spaces for up to 30 minutes only. If parking is needed after this time, please go to the ParkMobile App to purchase a visitor parking permit and park in a visitor space. Information to purchase a visitor parking permit may be found at https://www.towson.edu/parking/visitors/ .
  • 30-Minute passes may only be used once per day.
  • Permit is only valid during the stated time allotted.
