Downtime info for OTS’ Weekend Maintenance Windows
The Office of Technology Services (OTS) is performing scheduled system and infrastructure maintenance this weekend. Here are the services affected and what to expect:
Friday, Jan. 5
- Wireless network connectivity: there will be a few brief disruptions between 6-10 p.m. while work is performed on the wireless infrastructure in the data center.
- Homeshare (faculty and staff H: drives): unavailable Friday, Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. through Saturday, Jan. 6 at noon (extended downtime).
Sunday, Jan. 7
- All campus services: potential temporary outages between 6:30 a.m.-noon while work is performed on the data center network. Every effort will be made to minimize service interruptions.
When maintenance is complete, posts will be made to OTS Alerts. If you have questions about the outage, please contact the OTS Help Center at 410-704-5151.
As a reminder, the Office of Technology Services’ typical maintenance windows are Fridays from 6 p.m. until midnight and Sundays from 6 a.m. until noon. Please keep this timing in mind when planning events, assignments and deadlines.
