Faculty and Staff: Administrative Leave Granted for December 22, 2023
President Ginsberg has declared Dec. 22, 2023, as an Administrative Leave Day.
This Administrative leave day means the university will be closed for Winter Break starting on Dec. 22 and reopening on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024. Any planned leave for Dec. 22 may now be utilized at another date. Personal leave and accrued holiday leave must be used by the pay period ending Jan. 9, 2024, or the leave will be forfeited.
This administrative leave day will include all individuals regularly scheduled to work that day. Regular Staff (exempt & non-exempt), Contingent II Staff, 12- and 10-month Faculty, and Contingent I employees should record leave code ADMU – Admin Leave – when completing your timesheet for Friday, December 22.
Employees in 24/7 operations should discuss their leave schedule with their supervisors. Employees who are required to work on December 22 will be able to record administrative leave on a different date and must do so by January 31, 2024.
