Fall Move Out 2023
Fall Move-Out is right around the corner as finals for the semester wind down this week. Please be aware of the increase in pedestrian traffic near and around the residence halls as students move out for the winter break. Please follow the guidelines below during Fall Move-Out:
- Designated “Move-out” spaces will be located near each residence hall.
- Vehicles may only be parked in “Move-out” spaces for a maximum of 30 minutes. A permit is not required while parked in a “Move-out” space. However, once vehicles are loaded, vehicles must be moved to a legal parking space based on the individual’s permit type.
- All vehicles must be parked in a legal space. At no time is any vehicle permitted to park in fire lanes, accessible spaces (without the proper permit) in a roadway, on sidewalks, on grass, or otherwise marked reserved space (even for a few minutes).
- Only vehicles displaying both a state-issued accessible license plate/placard and a valid TU parking permit may be parked in accessible spaces.
The walkway in West Village, by way of Lot 1 outside of the Enrollment building, will be open to vehicles for loading on the following days:
– Saturday, December 16 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
– Monday, December 18 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
– Tuesday, December 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please ensure all items are moved out of your room prior to bringing your vehicle to the walkway. The walkway is for loading purposes only, 15 minutes is allotted for vehicles to be loaded and moved. If you need more than 15 minutes to load, please park your vehicle in the garage when moving out.
The walkway will be closed on Sunday, December 17. As a reminder, Millennium Hall parking spaces are restricted to Millennium Hall permit holders. Those improperly parked are subject to citation and towing at the owner’s expense. Please follow the directions of posted signs and on-duty staff.
