Time Sheet Instructions – Thanksgiving Holidays – Contingent II Non-Exempt Staff
You must be in an active, paid status to earn any of the holidays below.
Towson University is closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on:
Wednesday, November 22, 2023 (University Holiday)
CN2 employees must use annual leave; if annual leave is not available leave the day blank.
Thursday, November 23, 2023 (State Holiday) – leave code HLCTU
Friday, November 24, 2023 (State Holiday) – leave code HLCTU
Holiday hours will be pre-populated on the timesheet for full-time employees:
- If you would otherwise not be scheduled to work on a day in which a holiday falls, you will need to remove the hours from that day and leave the day blank.
- Staff in departments which observe non-traditional work hours and schedules, or which perform essential functions, should discuss coverage with their supervisors.
- If you are scheduled to work on any of the holidays, record pay code REG and hours worked.
Less than Full-time Employment:
- If you are less than 1.0 FTE, the pay code will not be pre-populated. You will need to enter leave code HLCTU and enter hours according to your FTE (example, FTE .50 will enter 4 hrs. of HLCTU).
