International Education Week is here-celebrate with us!

TU International is pleased to invite all students, faculty, and staff to participate in International Education Week 2023. This joint initiative from the U.S. Departments of Education and State highlights new and continuing international activities on campus. It starts Monday (Nov. 13) and will continue throughout the week with events, interactive activities, information sessions and more!

Tuesday, November 14

Marketing Your International Experience
When: 12 pm
Where: Psychology Building, Rm. #407
Have you already studied abroad or away during your time at TU? Are you interested in studying abroad or away in the future? Join us to discover how your experience beyond the TU campus can boost your professional development and career prospects! Learn how to incorporate your experience in your resume, cover letters, and job interviews. Meet returnees and reflect together on the learning and growth a study abroad or away experience offers. Study Abroad & Away Group Advising
When: 2 pm
Where: Psychology Building, Rm. #408
Come to a group advising session to learn about studying abroad or away with TU.

Conversation with Peace Corps
When: 3 pm- 4 pm
Where: UU 224
Serving in the Peace Corps is a great way to immerse yourself in a new culture, learn a new language, and have the experience of a lifetime. Join us at this information session to learn about volunteer experiences, ask questions about service, and gain tips to guide you through the application process.

Fulbright U.S. Student Program Information Session

Are you interested in cultural exchange, community engagement, and making a difference in the world? Considering a master’s degree, conducting research, or teaching English abroad after graduation? If so, you could be one of the more than 2,500 students who receive a Fulbright U.S. Student grant each year. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides fully funded grants for individually designed study/research projects. graduate degree programs, and English teaching assistant programs outside the U.S. Fulbright operates in more than 140 countries worldwide and awards grants in nearly all fields and disciplines.
