Preparing for Grad School Workshop & Panel Discussion
Thursday, November 9 • 4-6:30 p.m. • Virtual
Are you thinking about applying to graduate school? Do you want to know more about the application process and what admission committees value? Are you wondering about how to write the personal statement, or how to shape your application in ways that highlight your individual strengths?
If the answer to any of these questions is “yes,” then please join us on November 9th for an interactive, virtual workshop about planning for and applying to graduate school. Listen to admissions professionals talk about the application and funding process. Learn strategies for writing a compelling personal statement and meet with former Towson graduates who have gone onto successful graduate careers.
- Part I: 4:00 – 5:10 p.m. – How to Write a Personal Statement
- Part II: 5:15 – 6:30 p.m. – Panel Discussion
This event is co-sponsored by the Career Center, Honors College, and the Writing Center.
Questions? We encourage you to contact Glenda Henkel, Associate Director and Internship Program Coordinator, with any questions or concerns at henkel@towson.edu.
