How many people can the Earth support?  And Why?  How can we think about the challenges facing the next generation, and our planet as well?  Given our advanced state of ecological overshoot, what can we do to hasten the inevitable demographic transition, and bend the global patterns of population and consumption so that humanity can live in balance with our planet?  We all have a role we can play, and choices we can make.
