Virtual Meeting Next Week: You’re Invited!! Join the Disability, Neurodiverse, Chronically Ill Faculty and Staff Association (Disability+FSA)!
Please join us in commencing this community with a meeting and conversation on Tuesday, October 10 from 1 to 2 PM on Zoom at https://towson-edu.zoom.us/j/93615508432?pwd=V2txc1BwcXhGclVHbVIybjZXQTQzdz09
TU is pleased to announce the new Disability+Faculty and Staff Affinity Group. All faculty and staff are invited who identify as disabled, neurodivergent, and chronically ill or as allies. This group aims to promote fellowship, facilitate personal plus professional growth, and provide resources while supporting the university’s mission of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
All are welcome, (e.g., other interested community members who are not persons with disabilities or allies), all disclosures are voluntary, and we are committed to facilitating accessible and participatory experiences. Although this meeting will resemble a forum-type environment, any information voluntarily disclosed should not be shared outside of this meeting. If you have questions or accessibility needs contact either Co-Chair: Brittni Ballard at bballard@towson.edu or Kathy Peters at kepeters@towson.edu
All other interests or questions about TU Affinity Groups should be directed to Diversity and Inclusion Specialist Lavern Chapman at lchapman@towson.edu or 410-704-0203.
