Study Abroad in Denmark during Summer 2024
Study positive psychology in Denmark in Summer 2024! Gain an understanding of the human pursuit of happiness by comparing and contrasting the way different cultures have sought pleasure throughout history. Explore what “makes life worth living” and constitutes “the good life” in both the U.S. and Scandinavia.
Participants will spend time in Copenhagen in addition to visiting national parks and nature preserves to discover how the natural world influences experiences of happiness. Program highlights include guest lectures by local experts, visits to the Happiness Research Institute, the National Museum of Denmark, Tivoli Gardens, and much more!
Participants will take either PSYC 494 or PSYC 594 with Professor Christa Schmidt for a total of 3 credits.
The application deadline is March 15, 2024. Full program details and the application are available in Horizons.
For more information, contact Prof. Schmidt and/or the TU Study Abroad & Away Office by email, by calling 410-704-2451, or by online chat at towson.edu/abroad.
