Facilities Management Project Portal is Now Open
The Facilities Management Project Request Portal is now open and accepting project requests through September 30, 2023. With the opening of the portal, the Facilities Management department is making it easier to submit and track project requests.
Each project is reviewed and assessed by TU leadership to prioritize requests and efficiently assign resources. As each project is evaluated, Facilities Management may need to reach out to request additional information to better assess the project needs.
Any projects submitted under the previous portal that was not supported/approved will need to be resubmitted for evaluation and consideration. For projects that include only furniture, whether new or used, please submit a Furniture Request.
It is important to note that sign-off by a Dean or VP at the time of the initial project request submittal does not indicate the project is approved for completion. It simply means the request will be further evaluated and given consideration for completion along with other proposed projects from across the campus. Final decisions on projects that will move forward for completion will be determined after a review by the President and the President’s cabinet giving consideration to funding sources as well as strategic and operational initiatives. Upon completion of this process, all requestors will be notified if their project will be moving forward for scheduling to complete or if it needs to be resubmitted for consideration at a later date.
A new Project Delivery Guide is available as a resource to provide users with more detailed information about the project request and delivery process. Facilities Management will also be available to schedule department wide presentations on the project request process. To request a presentation, please contact Terence McCann at tmccann@towson.edu.
